Hi, i'm Janine

I’m a certified health coach through the NSHC. I was born in South Africa, grew up in the U.S. and now live as an expat in the Middle East. I actually became a mom and an expat around the same time, so I had to figure out how to lose the baby weight and keep it off in a new country.

As a new mom, I was embarressed of my heavier body. I wore baggy clothes to hide my bulges and purposely cropped myself out of pictures with my daughter. I was also overwhelmed by my new responsibilities; I had little time and energy to devote to diet & exercise.

As a new expat, I was challenged with keeping the weight off due to new stressors: change in culture, language, environment, and routines! 

But I figured out how to lose the baby weight & keep it off by focusing on  simple weight loss strategies. I think of it as my minimalist weight loss tool kit—no fad diets, counting calories, or restricting food! I learned how to overcome the obstacles in my new country & control my weight wherever I travel. Once I lost the weight, I felt like myself again!  I felt confident, energetic, and started posing in pictures with my daughter.  I didn’t want to miss out on making precious memories.

You may cancel up to three of the twelve sessions, as long as you provide 24-hr notice. You many reschedule them without additional charge.
